Les Murray’s poem ‘High-speed Bird’ in a stunning limited edition signed by the poet*
To mark the occasion of the 2010 Poetry Society Annual Lecture, the Poetry Society has produced a limited edition print of Les Murray’s new poem ‘High-speed Bird’.
Featuring a specially commissioned wood engraving by Ian Stephens RE, the poem has been printed by Phil Abel of the distinguished letterpress studio, Hand & Eye, London. It has been set in Garamond on Somerset Velvet Soft White 300gsm archival board, dimensions: 260 x 125 mm. A limited number have been produced, making it an affordable and collectable souvenir or gift.

‘High-speed Bird’ will appear in Murray’s forthcoming collection Taller When Prone (Carcanet) this autumn.
