"Comedy allowed him to represent the body being broken apart; pathos allowed him to deal with affection that couldn't find a home." In the 200th anniversary of Edward Lear’s birth, long-term admirer Michael Rosen investigates the fascinating life and work of this contradictory problematic figure. This event is presented by the Poetry Society.
