The Young Poets Network is a new project from the Poetry Society, offering workshop challenges and feedback alongside features by poets and information about poetry groups and opportunities you can get involved in.
Right now we have a workshop challenge by poet Ross Sutherland, features on Poetry for Peanuts (getting into poetry on a tight budget), becoming a Young Poet Laureate and confronting your stage fright at readings, plus our Poetry Map to help you find poetry in your area.
You can also join in conversations and get daily updates by "liking" our Young Poets Network facebook page.
The Poetry Society has over 200 youth members aged 11-18. As part of a community they are encouraged to share their work, submit to our on-line magazine and enter competitions. Members also receive books, posters, a youth directory and a membership card which grants them discounts at poetry events, bookshops and our poetry feedback service. Find out more and join now.
