To mark the occasion of the 2011 Poetry Society Annual Lecture, the Poetry Society has produced a limited edition print of C.K. Williams’s tour de force poem ‘Whacked’.
Featuring striking woodcuts by the artist and Daily Telegraph political cartoonist Nicholas Garland, the edition was printed by Phil Abel of Hand & Eye letterpress studio, London. Set in Plantin on a 200gsm Fabriano paper, the print (folded to 297 x 200 mm) is published in an edition of just 450, making it an elegant and exclusive souvenir of the event.
The print is the ideal gift for anyone with an interest in poetry.
The retail price to non-members is £12 and to Society members £8. Signed copies are available at no extra charge while stocks last.
