The Poetry Society has published a journal and newsletter for almost 100 years. The Poetry Review is one of the world's leading contemporary poetry magazines, and has just undergone a bold new redesign for its upcoming Spring issue. Poetry News is packed with features, tips and listings. The Society also offers a range of resources for students and teachers.
Since 2005 the Poetry Society has acted as "country editor" for Poetry International, a truly international forum for poetry on the internet. With quarterly guest editors, we are able to build a picture of contemporary UK poetry for a global audience. For more information, please visit our PIW page on this site; our quarterly issues and the entire archive may be found on uk.poetryinternational.org
Education publications include books packed with information about working with poets and poetry in schools, and we distribute materials including posters and the poems from the Poems on the Underground project.
Our Poetryclass webpages, designed for anyone using poetry in education, contain a large number of totally free downloadable teaching plans as well as tips for teaching poetry and a list of useful links.
Our regularly updated website is one of our major publications, reaching thousands of viewers every month. It is full of information, poems, interactive sections and a secure online shop - if you can't find what you want easily, please try the search box (left), or visit our site map.
