                attracts,

                intrigues,

                and maybe even mesmerises

Stand out, they said.

Tell them how you help your school, and that

Being a prefect

Has made you a responsible,
          dependable,

Journal

Indented, joined-up days.

Life, horizontally.

Except I don't have to see

And I don't have to think.

All I do is trace new shoes and

School and friends in ink.
