We are to be the guests of Bedwas Poetry Circle who are inviting them for an afternoon of shared entertainment at Llancaiach Fawr Manor near Nelson on 29 March. The groups have met up before and find the interaction stimulating and productive. The Manor itself dates back to Charles the First and holds re-enactment sessions where guests are invited to dress according to the period and use some semblance of early English speech in conversing with the curators on the day. Highly entertaining, even without the poetry!

We meet on the 2nd Monday of each month in the Haydn Rees Room, Clwyd Theatr Cymru, Mold (apart from April 2012 when we’ll meet on the 16th in the Subscribers Room). Cross Borders’ next meeting will be held on Monday 13 February in the Haydn Rees Room where we’ll be holding an ‘anonymous’ read-and-feedback session. Please submit your poems by Monday 6th and Robbie will email unattributed copies to you in advance of our meeting. During January our poster poems were exhibited in the Community Gallery at Clwyd Theatr Cymru where they attracted a lot of interest.
