Southwark Stanza meets Forest Gate Stanza at 7.30pm, Poetry Cafe, 22 Betterton Street, on Thursday February 16 2012 for an evening of readings by London poets, amongst them Helen Adie, Bernard Battley, Joan Byrne, Aviva Dautch, Wendy French, and John Mackinnon. MCs Kate Miller (Southwark) and Jenny Shepherd (Forest Gate). We look forward to it and hope friends and relations will pack the place out. An evening of poetry and music performed by members of the Stanza, concentrating on work created during the past year.

The Streatham / Brixton Stanza is going strong with some very firm regular members over the last 2-4 years. Good mix of experienced and publishing poets with newer poets. High quality and imagination all round. Still have spaces for newcomers.
