Creative Writing & Poetry Workshop: 20 May 2012, Pure Land Japanese Garden, North Clifton, NG23 7AT. 10am - 4pm. The writing workshop is free. Entrance to the garden, food and drinks are at the normal rate. Buddha Maitreya has created a beautiful and inspirational garden over the last 42 years. He has named this idyllic place ‘Pure Land’. Surprisingly this symbolic representation of his life in Japan is only 20-30 minutes drive from Lincoln & Newark. Lincolnshire Writing Centre feels privileged and fortunate to be able to hold a writing workshop at this venue. Christopher Sanderson will lead the day; his love for, and empathy with the peaceful garden will no doubt colour the day’s progression.
