Next meeting – Sunday 16 June, 8pm, at the Archibald Knox pub, Onchan.
We meet every third Sunday of each month, for a couple of hours of reading poetry, our own or others. The meetings usually take place in a back room at a pub. We also issue a magazine where members’ work is published, Under The Hill. It’s issued roughly 3 times a year, free to members of our group. We have also held public readings, and taken part in other events by invitations.
Poetry on Manx Radio. Listen out for our regular slot on the first and third Tuesday each month, at around 10.30pm. Members of the Society talk to presenter Ben Hartley and share a poem or two.
