With a rather blustery November came the announcement of the winner of ExCite's first poetry competition. David Butler, with his poem '103' walked away with the £100 first prize and Susan Taylor and Rose Cook claimed 2nd and 3rd with their poems 'Murmuration' and 'The Storm'. All poems can be read at:

ExCite has been let loose on the radiowaves. Stanza rep Rachel McCarthy has a review show on phonic. 106.8fm (and online). Reviews, previews and Interviews with the movers and shakers on the local arts scene, with music to move and shake too. First Sunday of every month, 12-2pm.
