Next Stanza meeting – Saturday 11 February, 11am-2pm, at Jacksdale Christian Centre, Franklin Road, Jacksdale, NG16 5LG. Matt Black, Derbyshire Poet Laureate will do a reading and lead a writing exercise. Don’t forget to bring your ‘February’ poem drafts (and 10 copies) for the critiquing session.

Date for your diary – future meeting - Sunday 11 March, at The Brunswick Inn, Derby, a short walk from the railway station. 12noon start.

Local poetry competition news - Buxton Poetry Competition 2012. Theme: ‘Welcome to Britain’.
The closing date is April 6th 2012. Ann & Peter Sansom are judges. Top prize £300 with other cash prizes and book tokens also up for grabs.
