We meet on the last Tuesday of the month in Stalybridge Station Buffet Bar, 7.00 to 9.30 p.m.

We have been invited to a regular on-air slot on Tameside Radio (103.6FM). Hilary and Rachel were on the radio on 22nd April to introduce the group and read some of our poetry and we will put together a rota of members at the next meeting. Tameside Radio want us to read three times a week in regular slots, so quite. Commitment. We want it to open doors to new "poetry in the community" projects.

Rachel and Penny were invited to read at Nantwich Poets on 17th April, a fantastic night of reading from poets around the North West.

Lindsey Holland has had her first collection Particle Soup - published by KFS Press and has begun a PhD in Creative Writing at Edge Hill University. She also features in Penning Perfumes, a project in which poets and perfumiers work together to create new poems and new scents.

Stanza members are reading at the Liverpool Launch of The Robin Hood Book, edited by Alan Morrison and Angela Topping: David Seddon, Jan Dean, Angela Topping, Steve Waling and Peter Branson, at The Bluecoat Poetry Cafe. Additional Stanza members are included in the book: Edwin Stockdale, Philip Johnson.

The next meeting is on 30th January at Hartford Hall. All welcome. There will be a workshop at 6pm and a readaround/open floor from 8pm.
