Scarthin Books
in Cromford, Derbyshire, has a good selection of second hand poetry books which are usually at a good price - £3 to £5 or so. They also have a selection of new poetry books written by some of the most contemporary authors. As well as this there is homely vegetarian cafe which serves delicious grub ideal to sit and read your new poetic purchase. The shop is a converted three story house but has a lot of space and a good selection of books on most subjects. I think it is well worth a visit.

Oxfam Bookshop, London Road, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey
Oxfam has dedicated bookshops (no bric-a-brac or used clothes) in many large towns and cities and the chain is expanding. All the shops have some poetry on their shelves at reasonable prices. Some of the shops have poetry specialists among their volunteer staff. Some branches have a "wants book" and will look out for requested titles.
