2pm - 3pm: Poetry ID’s guest writer and entertainer will be Mike Barfield: comedy writer, humorist, cartoonist and creator of the Apparently... cartoon strip series in Private Eye. He is also the author of the highly amusing book ‘This Septic Isle’.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at Shaw's Corner and all the members of Poetry ID who took part and worked so hard to make the event the sucess that it turned out to be. I would also like to thank Mike Barfield who entertained the children so well and kept us laughing. Thanks also to the members of Ver Poets who helped to make a good day even better.
