East Riddlesden Hall is a West Yorkshire manor house built largely in the 1640s for the Murgatroyd family that had made its fortune from milling and weaving. Extended in the 1690s, the house survives almost unchanged and now contains furniture and a fine collection of mainly 17th Century embroideries.
