INSET training
With specially tailored INSET sessions available through the Poetry Society, teachers can learn new skills to help them work imaginatively with poetry in the classroom.
If you are looking to signpost young students on to poetry resources which they can access themselves, then the Poetry Society's Young Poets Network has a wealth of information, features, writing exercises and competitions aimed at young people up to the age of 25, but with a special focus on 13-19 year olds.
The Poetry Society's Poetryclass project supports educators, poets and parents in using poetry for learning. Please browse below for the kinds of support we can offer.
